Bob's Community Calendar

Early this year, Daniel and Maritza were both diagnosed with leukemia. These are only two of the many children who rely on donors like YOU for their health and survival. Please become a hero for these and many other children at the Childrens Hospital Los Angeles Antelope Valley blood drive, Sunday, August 8th, 8am-2pm, at 38925 Trade Center Drive, Palmdale, 93551.

Donor requirements:
- Be at least 17 years of age.
- Weigh at least 110 lbs.
- Feel well and healthy the day of donation.
- Bring a valid photo ID.
- Drink a lot of water!
- Eat a good meal before donating

Grace Resource Center supplies backpacks and school supplies to families that cannot afford to purchase them. last year Grace Resource Center helped over 400 children in the AV. To provide a gift card or school supplies call (661) 940-5272 or visit GraceResources.Org

The California Department of Fish and Game has released a mobile Fishing Guide phone application that provides access to fishing locations, latest fish planting sites and fishing license sales locations.
